Position overview:
We are seeking a passionate licensed or pre-licensed provider to join our team at The Roost Counseling. Our ideal candidate possesses experience and skills in navigating complicated client care, taking initiative in managing work responsibilities, and has comfort in communicating feedback and concerns. We are currently looking for providers who are passionate about having half of their caseload be kids, teens, and/or families.
Experience and Skills:
Experience and interest in working with diverse backgrounds.
Proficiency in evidence and strengths-based therapeutic interventions.
Ability to navigate complex client family systems with empathy, insight, and confidence.
Skillful maintenance of clear and ethical boundaries with clients.
Practice in trauma informed interventions.
Having an understanding of and commitment to supporting clients of marginalized identities.
Experience with kids, teens, or couples is valuable.
Commitment to continuous professional learning and personal self-care.
Hold a license as LPC, LPC Associate, LCSW, LCSW Associate, LMFT, or LMFT Associate.
Registered with Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists or Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
Associates expected to work toward full/unrestricted license.
Master’s degree in a related field required.
Responsibilities:
Building and maintaining a client caseload.
Conducting thorough behavioral health screenings and DSM-5 assessments.
Collaboratively developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Applying evidenced-based treatment modalities for high-quality therapeutic interventions.
Meticulous maintenance of confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Utilizing computer skills for efficient Electronic Health Record (EHR) management.
Working both independently and collaboratively within a team, to continue to better our systems for our providers and clients.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with fellow employees, clients, external agencies, and the broader community, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual support.
